Marin Water’s Human Resources department has put the District’s employment application and recruitment process on-line to simplify the process and to conserve resources.
Though jobs were previously posted on our website, until recently people had to actually apply via paper applications. Now job seekers can easily search for available positions and apply on-line. The jobs are posted both on the District’s website and on the CalOpps website, which is the on-line application provider MMWD and many other public agencies use. Applicants may submit their employment applications and respond to supplemental questionnaires electronically, as well as attach resumes and receive notifications via e-mail. If a job requires a DMV printout, that can be mailed in after the application is submitted on-line.
Applicants still have the option to submit a paper application if they choose, but we encourage them to use the on-line system since it is more efficient.
Although currently there are limited job opportunities at MMWD, job seekers can also use the CalOpps website to look for vacancies at other public agencies.
