If you’ve been looking for a source of comprehensive, current information on how to increase the water efficiency in your home, then you’ll want to visit Alliance for Water Efficiency’s new web site, Home Water Works.
The web site provides a vast amount of current information about indoor and outdoor residential water use and efficiency measures. A central feature of Home Water Works is the Water Calculator. Just answer a few simple questions about yourself and your home, and the Water Calculator will quickly estimate how much water you use for a variety of end uses, including toilets, dishwashers, showers, irrigation and more. You’ll also receive information on where and how to increase water efficiency in your home by identifying the end uses where water can be saved.
