It is hard to believe school has started in some areas of Marin this week. It is also the time of the year that we tend to let the gardens slide with other activities crowding our schedules. Let me offer this incentive to keep your interest piqued: Send me a digital picture of your favorite Bay-Friendly area in your garden and tell me what makes it Bay-Friendly. I will review the pictures and choose some of the most Bay-Friendly photos to display on our blog and our Facebook page for everyone’s viewing pleasure.
If you are not sure what Bay-Friendly teaches, now is the time to sign up for Bay-Friendly Gardening classes scheduled for September 19, September 26, and October 10. You won’t be disappointed in what the three-hour classes hold in store. Click here for registration.
So, drag out the pruning shears, freshen up the mulch, and capture the beauty of your work. I can’t wait to see the outcome.
